What Are These Bumps All Over My Tounge?

Quando i rifiuti non sono solo rifiuti

Produrre e gettare waste has become so "normal" in our daily work is often considered a natural fact. But there is no waste in nature: they are an "invention" of man, whose modern economy is basing solely on the logic of consumerism and the maximum profit, without taking into account the impacts on the environment and man himself.
This way of thinking and work is in sharp contrast with the laws of nature as waste, rather than resources and provide an economic benefit for society, are rendered incompatible with the environment.
For this you need to deal with a spirit of careful and responsible management of waste, producing less waste as possible, and learning to recover and reuse as much as possible of the waste materials produced.
To this end, the Association Grilli Aretusea "Nature Sicula, promoters of Syracuse Zero Waste Committee, along with the Group to fair trade GAS Syracuse, organized a public meeting dedicated to good practices for the reuse and recycling, one of the effective solutions to combat the problem of the waste in Sicily.
The meeting will be held Wednesday 25 March at 18:30 at the Centro Pio La Torre "in Piazza S. Lucia, 24 , in Syracuse, is the first scheduled event under the events GTutti-Forum of Environment. Guest speaker will be
Vania De Preto, coordinator of the recycling industry dedicated managed by the social cooperative "Together" in Vicenza, which it submits to the treatment of waste, reuse and recycling activity carried out daily by the 90 members of the cooperative.
The social cooperative "Together," which in its 30 years has gained a great experience, working in view of the multiplicity of types of differentiation, which allows you to reach a recovery rate on materials collected over 90% , aimed at flea markets, allowing them to escape from the disposal approximately 600 tonnes of landfill waste per year.
The initiative will examine ways to create similar activities in Sicily to the Veneto, related to distance from a joint project of "maximum reuse and minimum waste.

Obviously after the day of the G8 we can do without these uncomfortable but ecological bicycles and to breathe the air every day.

Il ministro dell'Ambiente e le sfide globali

The Minister met on 10 March in London Mr Hilary Benn, the Environment and the Energy and Climate Change Ed Miliband ahead of the G8 Environment Ministers in April in Syracuse.
In an interview with the press held its first meeting with the ministers, Prestigiacomo said the recent measures of the Berlusconi government, "the measures for the home, to promote the renewal of houses to cater for the more 'modern environmental standards with incentives for scrapping old cars represent significant steps towards a new green economy. "
That cemented what is left of our territory with the so-called battered housing plan and continue to support the production of cars go towards a new green economy! ..... And 'clear dimension of environmental problems experienced by the current government if the answers are (naively) of this tone.
''And yet the divide between the developed and developing countries in this respect and 'still very wide. E 'need to discuss how to encourage developing countries to grow in a sustainable manner,''the minister said, stressing that this will be' one of the problems at the center of discussions in the G8 in Syracuse.
In other words, since we in the West not only we can not grow "sustainably" but we still do not want to do, then help developing countries to grow without much trouble and with minimal environmental impact.
Prestigiacomo's statement concludes with a discussion of news of an agreement between Britain and Italy for collaboration in research on CCS or carbon capture and confinement.
For those who do not know what it is, CCS means continuing to emit CO2 into the atmosphere and then capture it and inject it with chemical processes in the depths of the Earth! The Italian Enel is always at the forefront in these technologies.
Let's just say that is one of the possible ways to comply with the limits imposed by the Kyoto Protocol or lower the emission of greenhouse gases or just can not do it then we capture the CO2 and shoot in the bowels of the earth.

What Strategy Did The Vikings Use

22 – 24 aprile 2009, Giustizia climatica e diritti dei popoli

It is the environmental forum "G-All," a coordination of individuals and associations who, at the upcoming G-8 environment of Syracuse, will lead to ' public attention to issues of environmental protection, climate change and ecological reconversion of the economy.

All subjects that are part signed the document "22 to 24 April 2009, Climate Justice e diritti dei popoli” .
Noi crediamo, invece, che il G-8, per la Sicilia e per Siracusa in particular, must provide an opportunity to improve the environmental quality of our territory and draw the attention of those who govern and citizens to the global environmental issues and their implications at the local level.

For these reasons, G-All Environment Forum proposes to organize an international event in which, in conjunction with the performance of the G-8, we discuss the bottom of the issues we care about most, with the help of leading personality of the scientific community and civil society.
meetings, conferences, seminars and concerts enliven for three days "our" square banner of peace, solidarity Social and respect for the environment.
this occasion calls for a major event for energy and energy efficiency, renewable energy and against nuclear power, believing wrong and counterproductive to the government's choice to focus on this old and dangerous technology. It will be even more significant that the protest against the return of nuclear power precisely to the territory Ibla, Ragusa in view of the fact that, according to rumors, was chosen as the site for the construction of a nuclear power plant.
ask local institutions in a short time, a meeting to define the locations and procedures of the events planned under the events that promote, in accordance with the requirements of public policy understandable that an event such as the G-8 demands.

Stream South Park To Ipad

Il documento sottoscritto dalle associazioni aderenti a GTutti - Forum Ambiente

22 to 24 April 2009
climate justice and peoples' rights
movements and associations have the task of opening new spaces of democracy and participation for a sustainable future
Three days of meetings in Syracuse discuss, from the bottom, the environment

2009 is a crucial year for the Planet. By the end of the year, the international community will have to reach a final agreement on the treaty which will provide new targets for the reduction of greenhouse gases after the expiry of the Kyoto Protocol expected in 2012.
The G8 environment to be held in Syracuse between 22 and 24 April next must be a step in this process. The impact of human activities has altered the natural balance of ecosystems with serious consequences for the health of the environment and the species that inhabit it. The acceleration that the phenomenon of climate change has been in the last fifty years is the most evident sign of this process, closely linked to the dominant development model. To stop global warming and reduce the disastrous effects of climate change, which are principali vittime le popolazioni più povere, è necessario modificare l’economia neo-liberista dominata dagli interessi delle multinazionali.
Purtroppo il governo italiano sta rallentando le trattative internazionali sul clima e l’energia development, undermining the objectives that the EU wants to set through the energy and climate package for 2020: reduction of 20-30 per cent of greenhouse gases, 20 per cent more renewable energy and the result of 20 per cent terms of energy efficiency.
For Italy, the government proposes another model with the decision, based on a return to nuclear power. This choice is not simply a throwback that focuses on technology, dangerous and far from cheap, but is likely to thwart the development of our country "revolution" technology (as well as economic and social) triggered by the development of renewable sources.
in the local situation is better. No one can escape is the fact that in Sicily - a region that, paradoxically, has the most favorable conditions for the development of renewable energy sources - are focusing on high-impact initiatives and climate-changing environment (incinerators, gas terminals, gas turbine) and the Minister 's environment, with the support of the President of the Region, proposes the creation of the first nuclear power plant in Sicily.

These choices require an environmental world to take responsibility immediately, after twenty-one by the victory of the referendum, a new campaign in favor of renewable energy, peace and against nuclear power. The G8 provides an opportunity Do not miss the birth of a new major mass movement that knows how to fight for a more just and more sustainable.

For these reasons, we urge all citizens of our community associations to meet and discuss with us to build a great event that, in those days when you held the G8, can bring the focus of the themes of climate change of saving the Earth's resources and at the same time to ask those who govern our country and our city administration courageous decisions in the field of environmental protection and health. The G8, for Sicily and Syracuse in particular, may also be an opportunity to improve the environmental quality of our territory and to increase public awareness of environmental issues and the preservation of health. It would be ironic that the city that hosts an event of this magnitude continues to occupy the last places in the rankings on environmental quality to the highest levels of fine particles, the unbridled consumption of resources and the total absence of environmental policies.
This is a great challenge in which we show great maturity and organizational skills. If we succeed it will mean that the hope of building a sustainable future from the bottom and there is another world that is still possible.
